The barrel utilizes a 1:7" right-hand twist for optimal stabilization of modern defensive and duty ammunition and is threaded 1/2"-28 with a factory flash hider installed.
The SCAR 15P is built around FN's one-piece monolithic aluminum upper receiver, providing exceptional rigidity and a continuous MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny top rail for optics and accessories. Multiple side and bottom Picatinny rails allow mounting of lights, lasers, vertical grips (where legally permitted), and other mission-specific accessories.
