GENERAL FIREARM SALES
All firearms, magazines, receivers and restricted law enforcement items are sold and shipped in accordance with all existing federal, state and local laws and regulations, however it is the sole responsibility of the customer to know any restrictions within the state, and local laws when purchasing these items. Many of the firearms, magazines and parts for sale on this website may be restricted or prohibited in your area. Please check your local and state regulations before ordering.
All new firearms are shipped in the original manufacturer's box, with magazine(s), accessories and applicable warranty. Firearms sales are final. Damaged product is case to case. If a firearm is damaged please submit all data to defensedepot.com. Firearms requiring warranty work must be returned to the factory within 1 year of purchase for repair. Accessories and special order items not normally sold by our store will not be covered under warranty even if these products are part of an integrated firearms package, unless we have guaranteed the entire package in writing. Please contact the original manufacturer for warranty information on all accessories and special order items.
PURCHASING FIREARMS ONLINE
It is illegal to ship firearms to anyone not holding an active Federal Firearms License (FFL). For that reason, firearms purchased online may picked up at our store or shipped to an FFL (gun store) near you. We may contact and verify the FFL you select during checkout before we ship your firearm(s). It is the customer's sole responsibility to contact the receiving FFL dealer prior to making their purchase to ensure that the receiving dealer will accept the firearm and complete the transfer. Each FFL dealer charges a fee to perform the transfer to the end customer. This fee varies from dealer to dealer and it is the customer's responsibility to obtain this information.
PURCHASING OPTICS/LIGHTS/LASERS ONLINE
Due to the increase of fraudulent orders, any optic, weapon light, or laser is subject to an adult signature required delivery.
CHANGING, MODIFYING, SUBSTITUTING ORDERS
We do not allow orders to be changed or modified once placed.
CANCELLED ORDERS
IN ORDER TO PROCESS A CANCELLED ORDER, YOU MUST FILL OUT THE REFUND AGREEMENT AND SIGN. WITHOUT A REFUND AGREEMENT, AN ORDER CAN NOT AND WILL NOT BE CANCELLED. All cancelled orders will be charged a 15% cancelation fee. All sales are final, included are firearms, ammunition, accessories, and optics. Any order that surpasses 21 days and defensedepot.com has not received the requested documents for your order; your order will be cancelled, and funds returned minus the 15% cancelation fee. Cancelled orders must be requested in writing (email) to be processed as documentation will be sent via email. If the parameters for a cancellation fee are necessary, the customer must agree to those as well in writing or the refund CANNOT be processed. Cancelled order/refunds can take up to 10 business days before they can be processed depending on the bank. Orders processed to shipping or orders that have been shipped cannot be cancelled.
ORDER FULLFILMENT
All orders are shipped promptly from a distributor warehouse or in-store inventory within 5 - 10+ business days once all documentation (FFL) has been received using UPS, FedEx, or USPS. (Orders can take longer at high volumes of orders.) Tracking numbers are available for items shipped via USPS, UPS and FedEx once the item has been processed though shipping. Our Flat rate shipping policy only qualifies for the lower 48 states and certain item categories. We currently do not offer shipping to states outside the lower 48 and international. We also do not combine orders for shipping. If an order is placed outside of the stated perimeters, it will be canceled and issued a restock fee. Orders cannot be processed if the billing and shipping address DO NOT match. If an order is for a serialized item or firearm the system will dictate it as such and it will be sent to the chosen FFL. DO NOT put the FFL as the shipping address. If an order is damaged, lost or stolen the customer is responsible to contact the carrier to file a claim. If the receiving party is unavailable for delivery, the customer is responsible to make new arrangements and will cover shipping costs for items to be reshipped. If this is not completed in a 48 hour period of an item that is "returned to sender" and received, the order will be cancelled with a restock fee. The customer is responsible for items after shipment.
In the event an item goes out stock, we do have the option to back order. If after 90 days the item does not come back in stock, we can no longer hold the order and the issuing card will be refunded in full.
INSURED SHIPPING
Insured shipping is offered in the US for only the lower 48 states and covers items or packages that have been lost or damaged while in transit. Damage claims, with photos attached must be submitted to info@defensedepot.com within 24 hours of carrier confirmed delivery. Insured shipping ends upon carrier confirmed delivery. In the case of a claim, the amount paid for insured shipping will not be refunded. Insured shipping must be purchased for Defense Depot to file a claim on your behalf. If insured shipping is NOT purchased, items that are lost, damaged or stolen during transit becomes the responsibility of the customer only. For new defected items, you must contact the manufacturer under the warranty.
AMMUNITION PURCHASES
You must be 18 or older to purchase rifle or shotgun ammunition and 21 or older to purchase handgun ammunition. All ammunition will be shipped ground and sales on these items are final. Always make sure to use the correct ammunition for your specific firearms. Check your local laws for any other regulations. Customers are responsible and must follow all local, state and federal laws. Please research before ordering if you are unsure about your local laws.
Restricted Products
Defense Depot offers several items that are restricted for sale in the United States of America by federal, state, and/or local laws and regulations. Sale of these restricted items may be limited to United States Military, Law Enforcement, Correctional Facility Personnel, Security Guards, Peace Officers, and various other authorized users.
Defense Depot makes its best effort to ensure that it remains current on all laws and regulations as applicable. Please be aware that United States federal, state, and/or local laws and regulations are complex and are subject to change. Therefore, any summaries of such laws and regulations provided by Defense Depot at any time can never and will never serve as legal advice or counseling in any way. It is ultimately the Customer's responsibility to investigate and ensure that any item is legal to use, carry, possess, purchase and/or own within the Customer's intended federal, state and/or local area.
Items regulated by United States federal, state, and/or local laws and regulations may include, but are not limited to, Ammunition, Body Armor, Helmets, Shields, Entry Tools, Lasers, Batons, Insignia, Restraints, Handcuffs, Gun Accessories and Gun Parts, Knives, Automatic Knives, Pepper Spray, and Stun Guns. Purchase of any restricted item may require various documents, including, but not limited to, a purchase order on department or institution letterhead, an official identification, and/or additional certification forms. Defense Depot expressly reserves the right to require any documentation as it deems necessary to ensure compliance with any applicable laws and regulations or any other purpose. Further, Defense Depot's reservation of rights includes, but is not limited to, the right to require end user and end use information and/or compliance certification forms from any Customer.
By proceeding with a transaction to purchase any restricted item, the Customer certifies that (i) the Customer has reviewed all United States federal, state, and/or local laws and regulations related to the use, possession, purchase and/or ownership of the restricted item(s); (ii) the Customer is legally permitted to use, possess, purchase and/or own the restricted item(s); (iii) the Customer does not intend to transfer the item(s) contrary to United States federal, state, and/or local laws and regulations; (iv) the item(s) will be used for lawful purposes only, and the Customer is not associated with any criminal group or criminal enterprise; (v) the Customer is at least 18 years of age, or of the appropriate legal age for an item according to applicable federal, state, and/or local laws and regulations; (vi) the Customer is under no legal disability that would prevent the Customer from using, possessing, purchasing, owning, and/or transferring the item(s); and (viii) the Customer has read and understands the Export Policy; and (ix) if applicable, Customer understands and agrees to restrictions on the return of certain regulated products.
By purchasing any item from Defense Depot, the Customer certifies that the Customer will comply with any and all requirements imposed by applicable U.S. federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and administrative policies.
Defense Depot does not manufacture, produce or assemble the products or items. Defense Depot is not responsible for any claims relating to infringement by the product of third-party intellectual property rights. Defense Depot makes no warranties, express or implied, with respect to the quality of the products or the results that customer may achieve utilizing such products, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for particular purpose (to the extent applicable) which are hereby disclaimed and excluded. In no event will Defense Depot be liable to Customer for any lost profits or indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary or punitive damages.
Used Firearms
All descriptions for used items are honest and based on actual items being offered for sale. We use the grading scale below to grade condition. Items being sold in this manner will be marked as used or previously owned. All sales on used firearms are final and are sold "As Is". Shipping is not refundable.
