The SIG SAUER Buckmasters Combo Kit SOK15BM07 is a hunting optics package pairing a Buckmasters riflescope with a Buckmasters 1500 laser rangefinder. The system is designed so the scope's Buckmasters Bullet Drop Compensation (BDC) reticle works in conjunction with the rangefinder's ballistic modes to simplify ranging and selecting an appropriate BDC holdover.
The Buckmasters riflescope uses a second-focal-plane Buckmasters BDC reticle with holdover dots extending to 500 yards. SIG developed the Buckmasters optics line with hunter Jackie Bushman as a value-oriented hunting optics system.
The included Buckmasters 1500 rangefinder features a vivid red illuminated display optimized for visibility during low-light hunting conditions. Its dedicated Buckmasters Mode incorporates eight onboard ballistic groups, allowing the rangefinder to indicate which Buckmasters BDC holdover dot corresponds to the ranged target.
SIG's Buckmasters riflescopes are built around hunting-oriented features such as 0.25 MOA adjustment increments, straightforward BDC reticles and black exterior finishes. The combination of the riflescope and rangefinder gives hunters a matched optic/ranging system rather than requiring separate ballistic calculations in the field.
