Colt Combat Commander O4940XE-OR .45 ACP 4.25" Optics Ready 8+1

The Colt Combat Commander O4940XE-OR delivers the traditional balance, durability and handling of an all-steel Commander-size 1911 with the modern advantage of an optics-ready slide. Chambered in .45 ACP, it features a 4.25-inch stainless steel barrel, carbon-steel frame and serrated carbon-steel slide finished in a classic matte-black/blued appearance.

The optic-ready slide allows the pistol to accept compatible reflex-sight mounting hardware while retaining Novak iron sights for a clean, practical sight picture. Checkered Black Cherry G10 grips complement the dark finish and provide a secure gripping surface.

Colt’s dual recoil-spring system helps manage recoil and extend recoil-spring service life. An upswept beavertail grip safety and undercut trigger guard permit a comfortable, high grip, while the extended thumb safety and Series 80 firing-pin safety provide familiar 1911 operation. Its 33-ounce, all-steel construction makes the Combat Commander a stable and well-balanced choice for range use, personal protection and everyday carry.
