The Ruger American Rifle Generation II Ranch Model 46919 combines the compact handling of Ruger's Ranch platform with the versatility of 5.56 NATO. With a 16.10-inch spiral-fluted barrel, 10-round AR-style magazine, adjustable Gen II stock, threaded muzzle, and optics-ready configuration, the 46919 is a versatile bolt-action rifle suited for predator and varmint hunting, ranch use, and recreational shooting.

The 16.10-inch cold hammer-forged, medium-contour barrel features deep spiral fluting designed to reduce weight at the muzzle while maintaining barrel stiffness and accuracy. Ruger finishes the barrel, receiver, muzzle brake, and bolt handle in durable Cobalt Cerakote®, providing an easy-to-maintain finish designed to withstand regular field use.

The muzzle is threaded 1/2"-28 and comes equipped from the factory with a radial-port muzzle brake. Combined with the rifle's compact barrel and 6.2-pound weight, the Ranch configuration provides excellent maneuverability in blinds, wooded terrain, and other environments where a shorter rifle can be advantageous.

Ruger's Flat Dark Earth Splatter Gen II American stock provides a secure gripping surface without being overly sharp or abrasive. The stock is also highly adjustable: removing the installed spacer reduces the length of pull from 13.75 inches to 12 inches, while the removable low comb is designed to provide proper alignment when using magnified optics. A soft rubber recoil pad provides comfortable shouldering.

For accuracy and trigger control, Model 46919 features the Ruger Marksman Adjustable™ trigger, offering a crisp release with a user-adjustable pull weight between 3 and 5 pounds. Ruger's patented Power Bedding™ system positively locates the receiver while free-floating the barrel to promote consistent accuracy.

The one-piece stainless-steel bolt utilizes a three-lug design with a 70-degree bolt throw, providing ample clearance for mounted optics. An oversized bolt handle assists with positive manipulation, while Ruger's three-position tang safety can lock the bolt to help prevent inadvertent opening while still allowing the rifle to be loaded with the safety engaged.

A factory-installed one-piece Picatinny scope base makes mounting an optic straightforward. The rifle feeds from a 10-round AR-style magazine and features a 1:8" RH twist, providing a versatile platform for a wide range of commonly available 5.56 NATO/.223 projectile weights.
