Ruger cold hammer forges the barrel, and this model uses a 1:9.5" right-hand twist with five grooves.

The muzzle is threaded 5/8"-24 and comes from the factory with a radial-port muzzle brake. Ruger applies Cobalt Cerakote to the barrel, muzzle brake, receiver, and bolt handle, providing a durable, corrosion-resistant finish while giving the Ranch series a distinctive appearance.
