The cold hammer-forged 16.40-inch medium-contour barrel features deep spiral fluting that reduces weight at the muzzle while maintaining stiffness and accuracy. Its compact profile makes the rifle especially convenient for hunting from blinds, tree stands, and thick cover. The muzzle is threaded 1/2"-28 and comes from the factory with a radial-port muzzle brake.
Ruger finishes the barrel, receiver, muzzle brake, and bolt handle in durable Cobalt Cerakote®, providing an easy-to-maintain finish designed for demanding field conditions.
