Springfield Armory 1911 Garrison .45 ACP 5" Blued Pistol – PX9420

The Springfield Armory 1911 Garrison PX9420 brings traditional 1911 styling together with modern materials, performance-focused enhancements, and heirloom-quality construction. Chambered in .45 ACP, this full-size pistol features a forged carbon-steel frame and slide with a handsome hot-salt blued finish.

Its 5-inch match-grade forged stainless-steel barrel provides excellent accuracy potential, while low-profile combat three-dot sights offer a clean, highly visible sight picture. A traditional GI-style recoil system and barrel-bushing configuration preserve the familiar handling and field-service characteristics of the classic 1911 platform.

Checkered thinline wood grips feature a double-diamond pattern and Springfield Armory’s Crossed Cannon logo, providing a secure shooting interface without unnecessary bulk. Additional refinements include a skeletonized hammer, extended thumb safety, and extended beavertail grip safety with a memory bump.

Built for shooters who appreciate classic design but expect contemporary performance, the Garrison is equally suited to recreational shooting, personal protection, or a carefully curated firearm collection.
