The Colt 1911 Government Engravers Model O1911CZ provides professional engravers, custom pistol builders and collectors with a clean foundation for creating a personalized Colt. Chambered in .45 ACP, this special Government Model features smooth slide flats without Colt’s standard roll marks, leaving an open canvas for custom engraving, commemorative artwork or decorative metalwork.

The pistol retains the traditional proportions and operating characteristics of a full-size Colt 1911. Its configuration includes a 5-inch barrel, single-action trigger, traditional hammer, manual thumb safety and grip safety. A polished blue finish and double-diamond checkered rosewood grips provide classic Colt styling.

This Engravers Model is supplied without factory-installed sights, allowing the custom builder to select and install sights appropriate for the completed project. Whether intended as a presentation pistol, personalized heirloom or custom carry and range build, the O1911CZ provides an authentic Colt foundation ready for the engraver’s vision.
