The Colt Competition Government Optics-Ready combines the proven design of a full-size 1911 with modern features developed for accuracy, speed and adaptability. Chambered in .45 ACP, this competition-oriented pistol features a 5-inch National Match barrel and all-stainless-steel construction for excellent balance, durability and consistent performance.

Its factory-cut slide accepts Colt’s interchangeable optic-plate system, allowing the pistol to be configured for several popular red-dot footprints with the appropriate mounting plate. Shooters who prefer iron sights benefit from a bright Novak fiber-optic front sight and adjustable rear sight.

Checkered blue-and-black G10 grips provide a secure hold and distinctive appearance. Additional performance features include an undercut trigger guard, extended beavertail grip safety, ambidextrous thumb safety and three-hole aluminum trigger.
