The Colt Competition Government Optics-Ready brings modern sighting capability to Colt’s proven full-size 1911 platform. Chambered in 9mm, this competition-oriented pistol combines a 5-inch National Match barrel with all-stainless-steel construction for dependable accuracy, comfortable recoil management and excellent balance.

Its factory-cut slide works with Colt’s interchangeable optic-plate system, allowing the pistol to accept several popular red-dot footprints when equipped with the appropriate mounting plate. The pistol remains fully capable with iron sights, featuring a bright Novak fiber-optic front sight and adjustable rear sight.

Checkered blue-and-black G10 grips provide a secure, distinctive gripping surface. An undercut trigger guard, extended beavertail, ambidextrous thumb safety, three-hole aluminum trigger and dual recoil-spring system further enhance its competition-ready handling.
