Colt Competition O1072CCSOR 9mm 5" Optics Ready Stainless 9+1

The Colt Competition O1072CCSOR combines the familiar ergonomics of a Government-size 1911 with modern features developed for competition and precision shooting. Chambered in 9mm Luger, it features a five-inch stainless steel National Match barrel, stainless steel construction and an optics-ready slide prepared for Colt’s interchangeable mounting-plate system.

A Novak red fiber-optic front sight provides fast visual acquisition, while the black serrated rear sight helps reduce glare. The factory cover plate incorporates the rear sight, allowing the pistol to remain fully functional before an optic is installed. Compatible Colt optic plates and red-dot sights are sold separately.

Checkered blue G10 grips with scalloped sections provide secure traction and complement the brushed stainless finish. An extended thumb safety, upswept beavertail grip safety and enhanced frame ergonomics promote consistent control during rapid strings. Colt’s Series 70 firing system, National Match barrel and three-hole aluminum trigger complete this competition-focused interpretation of the classic Colt 1911.
