A close cousin of Galco's DAO and SAO holsters, the Auto Pistol Outdoorsman (APO) is made for carrying a semiautomatic pistol in the outdoors, whether hunting, hiking, camping, or riding. It can be worn strong side or crossdraw, and its low ride position increases comfort and helps clear pack straps and other gear. A retention strap with a glove-friendly polymer tab secures the pistol over rugged terrain, and tension screw adjustment allows a custom fit. Unlined premium steerhide with detailed hand molding, cut to accommodate most carry-style optics. Fits belts up to 1 3/4".
Documented fits include: Colt 5" 1911; Kimber 5" 1911 with or without rail; Nighthawk 5" 1911; Ruger SR1911 5"; S&W SW1911 5" with or without rail; Taurus PT1911 5" (no rail); Tisas 1911 Raider 5" and 1911A1 5"; and Wilson Combat 5" 1911, each with or without a red dot.
