The Ruger American Rifle Generation II Predator Model 46941 is a 6mm ARC bolt-action rifle built for varmint hunting, predator hunting, and precision-oriented shooting. Chambered in 6mm ARC, Model 46941 uses a longer 22-inch medium-contour barrel, distinguishing the Predator from the shorter 20-inch Standard Gen II models. Deep spiral fluting removes material toward the muzzle to improve balance while maintaining barrel stiffness. The barrel is cold hammer-forged and uses a fast 1:7.7" right-hand twist with five grooves.

The muzzle is threaded 5/8"-24 and comes equipped with Ruger's factory radial-port muzzle brake. Ruger applies a Burnt Bronze Cerakote finish to the barrel, muzzle brake, receiver, and bolt handle for increased durability and corrosion resistance.

The Predator's appearance is distinguished by its Green Splatter Gen II American stock, which complements the Burnt Bronze metal finish. Ruger designed the textured splatter surface to provide additional grip without becoming excessively sharp or abrasive. A soft rubber recoil pad incorporates progressive-collapse geometry to help reduce felt recoil.

The stock provides an adjustable 12"–13.75" length of pull. Removing the factory-installed spacer shortens the LOP to 12 inches, while additional spacers can further refine fit. The installed low comb is also removable and can be exchanged for different comb heights to accommodate various optic configurations.

Model 46941 is particularly notable for its magazine system. Rather than the proprietary flush-fit or AI-style magazines used by several other Ruger American configurations, this 6mm ARC Predator uses an AR-style detachable magazine with a 10-round capacity. Ruger includes one magazine with the rifle.

The rifle is equipped with Ruger's Marksman Adjustable™ trigger, providing a user-adjustable pull weight between 3 and 5 pounds. Ruger's patented Power Bedding™ integral bedding block system positively locates the receiver while free-floating the barrel.

Another Gen II upgrade is the three-position tang safety. The system can lock the bolt to prevent inadvertent opening while still allowing the rifle to be loaded with the safety engaged.

The one-piece bolt is CNC-machined from stainless steel and uses Ruger's familiar three-lug design with a 70-degree bolt throw, providing additional clearance around mounted optics. An oversized bolt handle improves manipulation and uses a 5/16"-24 thread pattern for replacement or customization.

There are no traditional iron sights. Instead, Ruger installs a one-piece Picatinny scope base at the factory. At 6.7 pounds and 43.25 inches overall, the 46941 provides the longer-barreled Predator configuration while remaining relatively lightweight.
