The Ruger LCP® MAX Model 13754 is a lightweight, ultra-concealable .380 Auto semi-automatic pistol designed for everyday concealed carry while offering enhanced safety features. This model features a 2.80-inch barrel, 10+1 capacity, manual thumb safety, loaded chamber indicator, magazine disconnect safety, tritium front sight, and stainless steel slide, making it an ideal choice for shooters who prefer additional passive and manual safety systems in a compact defensive handgun. Ruger introduced Model 13754 in 2025 as part of its expanded LCP MAX lineup.
Like every LCP MAX, the 13754 utilizes Ruger's proven Secure Action™ fire-control system, which combines a protected internal hammer with a bladed trigger safety to provide a short, smooth trigger pull, crisp break, and positive reset. The locked-breech action and patented barrel cam geometry help reduce felt recoil compared to many pistols in its class, making the LCP MAX more comfortable and controllable during rapid follow-up shots.
What sets Model 13754 apart from the standard LCP MAX is its manual thumb safety, loaded chamber indicator, and magazine disconnect safety. The manual safety is conveniently located on the left side of the frame, the loaded chamber indicator provides both visual and tactile confirmation of a chambered round, and the magazine disconnect prevents the pistol from firing when the magazine has been removed. These additional safety features make the 13754 especially attractive for shooters who prefer redundant safety mechanisms or who must comply with state-specific requirements.
The pistol features a matte stainless steel alloy steel slide with polished sides and aggressive front and rear cocking serrations for improved slide manipulation. The lightweight glass-filled nylon frame provides an aggressive textured grip while maintaining an unloaded weight of only 10.6 ounces, making the pistol exceptionally comfortable for pocket or inside-the-waistband carry.
The LCP MAX is equipped with excellent factory sights, including a tritium front sight with white outline for rapid target acquisition in low-light conditions and a generous U-notch rear sight that is drift adjustable. The rear sight's square leading edge also allows for one-handed slide manipulation if needed. Sight dovetails accept many aftermarket Bodyguard-pattern sights.
Model 13754 ships with one 10-round steel magazine, a soft pocket holster, and a magazine loader. The pistol also features a reversible magazine release, improved feed geometry, enhanced extractor design, and refined barrel cam geometry for reliable operation with defensive and practice ammunition.
