The Safariland Model 578 GLS Pro-Fit combines the Grip Lock System (GLS) with a SafariSeven nylon-blend body. The GLS automatically secures the weapon when holstered and releases with the middle finger under a normal shooting grip. SafariSeven is non-abrasive to the gun's finish and tolerant of extreme temperatures, and the holster includes an injection-molded paddle and an adjustable belt loop that also allows crossdraw carry.
Documented fits include: Beretta 92/92D/F/FS/FS Centurion, 96; CZ P-09; FN FNP45; Sig Sauer P220R/P226R, P220ST, P226 Elite/MK25, P320 9/40; S&W 4556, 5906 (with light, straight trigger); Springfield XD 9/40/45 4" and 5", XD Mod.2, XD-M 4.5" and 5.25".
