The Tikka T3x Lite Roughtech combines lightweight field handling, dependable performance and a weather-resistant stock designed for demanding hunting conditions. Chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, this right-handed rifle features a 24.3-inch cold-hammer-forged barrel with a 1:8-inch twist rate for effective stabilization of popular hunting and target bullets.
The black carbon-steel barrel is fluted to reduce weight and threaded 5/8x24 for compatible muzzle devices and suppressors. An included muzzle brake helps reduce felt recoil and muzzle movement. The fluted bolt provides smooth operation while complementing the rifle’s lightweight configuration.
Its tan Roughtech synthetic stock features black webbing and a textured surface that provides a secure grip in wet, cold or otherwise challenging conditions. The modular stock accepts interchangeable pistol grips and fore-end components, allowing the rifle to be adapted for different shooting styles. Additional grips and fore-end components are sold separately.
The T3x receiver features a widened angular ejection port for easier single-round loading, additional mounting points for securely attaching an optional Picatinny rail, a metallic bolt shroud and a durable steel recoil lug. A recoil-reducing buttpad and foam insert inside the stock further improve shooting comfort and reduce unwanted stock noise in the field.
