Fall Shootout 2026

Put your handgun skills to the test during Defense Depot’s Fall Shootout, a four-week individual men’s shooting league combining controlled pairs, timed fire, magazine changes, and precision shooting at distances from 5 to 25 yards.

The league takes place over four weeks starting on Oct 12th and runs through Nov 8th. Last day to register and complete week 1 shoot is Oct 18th. Participants will fire a 50-round course each week under the supervision of a Range Safety Officer and can complete each week's shoot anytime during the designated week. Scores and X-ring hits will be recorded weekly to determine the overall league standings.

Defense Depot membership is not required. The $40 registration fee covers participation in the complete four-week league.

Scoring

All stages will use standard B27 targets. The X-ring counts as 10 points and will also serve as the league’s tie-breaking measurement.

Daily point totals and X-ring hits will both be entered into the scoring system. If two shooters have the same point total, the shooter with the greater number of X-ring hits will receive the higher ranking.

Line Calls

The RSO scoring the target will make all final line-call decisions. A bullet hole that visibly cuts a scoring-ring line will receive the higher point value. The benefit of the doubt will go to the shooter.
