The Galco Auto Pistol Outdoorsman (APO) is a close cousin of the DAO and SAO, built for open carry of a semi-automatic pistol when hunting, hiking, camping or riding. It can be worn strongside or crossdraw, rides low to clear pack straps, and uses a retention strap with a glove-friendly polymer tab plus tension screw adjustment. Unlined premium steerhide fits belts up to 1 3/4". This version accommodates a slide-mounted red dot optic.
