The Ruger Precision Rifle® Model 18104 is a premium .308 Winchester bolt-action precision rifle engineered for long-range target shooting, competition, and precision tactical applications. Featuring a 20-inch cold hammer-forged barrel, 10-round Magpul® PMAG®, folding adjustable stock, free-float M-LOK® handguard, and Ruger Marksman Adjustable™ trigger, the 18104 delivers exceptional accuracy in a highly configurable platform.
Purpose-built with an in-line recoil path, the Ruger Precision Rifle directs recoil straight into the shoulder, minimizing muzzle rise and improving shooter control. The rifle utilizes a three-lug bolt with a 70-degree bolt throw for fast cycling and ample clearance for large optics, while dual cocking cams provide smooth operation.
Model 18104 features a 20-inch cold hammer-forged chrome-moly steel barrel chambered in .308 Winchester. The barrel utilizes a 1:10" right-hand twist and is threaded 5/8"-24, fitted with Ruger's updated hybrid muzzle brake to reduce felt recoil and muzzle movement while remaining compatible with suppressors where legally permitted.
The rifle is built around a one-piece CNC-machined aluminum chassis with a folding stock that locks securely in both the open and folded positions. The stock offers tool-free adjustment of comb height and length of pull, allowing shooters to quickly achieve a customized fit. A Magpul® MOE-K2-XL grip provides improved ergonomics and compatibility with AR-pattern grip replacements.
A 15-inch free-float aluminum handguard with M-LOK® accessory slots provides ample mounting space for bipods, tripods, and other accessories. The receiver includes a factory-installed 20 MOA Picatinny scope rail, providing additional elevation adjustment for long-range optics.
Model 18104 is equipped with the Ruger Marksman Adjustable™ trigger, externally adjustable from approximately 2.25 to 5 pounds. The rifle accepts both Magpul SR25/DPMS-pattern PMAG® magazines and AICS-pattern magazines, offering excellent magazine compatibility. It ships with two 10-round Magpul PMAG® magazines.
