The Ruger Security-9® Model 3811 is a full-size 9mm Luger semi-automatic pistol built around Ruger's Secure Action™ internal hammer-fired system and configured specifically for jurisdictions with magazine-capacity restrictions. Featuring a 4-inch barrel, 10+1-round capacity, black oxide alloy-steel slide, high-performance glass-filled nylon grip frame, and drift-adjustable sights, the Security-9 3811 delivers the same reliability and handling as the standard model in a compliant package.

The Security-9 utilizes Ruger's Secure Action™ fire-control system, derived from the proven LCP® platform. This internal hammer-fired design combines strong ignition with a smooth trigger pull, short reset, and crisp break while allowing the slide to be easier to rack than many comparable striker-fired pistols.

Model 3811 features a through-hardened alloy-steel slide and barrel finished in black oxide, paired with a high-performance glass-filled nylon grip frame.
