The Safariland Model 578 GLS Pro-Fit combines the Grip Lock System (GLS) with a SafariSeven nylon-blend body. The GLS automatically secures the weapon when holstered and releases with the middle finger under a normal shooting grip. SafariSeven is non-abrasive to the gun's finish and tolerant of extreme temperatures, and the holster includes an injection-molded paddle and an adjustable belt loop that also allows crossdraw carry.
Documented fits include: Compact size: Glock 19/23/38, FN FNS, Sig Sauer P229 (no rail), Ruger SR9/9E, Springfield XD 4", Walther P99/PPQ/CCP, HK VP9, HK P30.
