The Safariland Model 578 GLS Pro-Fit combines the Grip Lock System (GLS) with a SafariSeven nylon-blend body. The GLS automatically secures the weapon when holstered and releases with the middle finger under a normal shooting grip. SafariSeven is non-abrasive to the gun's finish and tolerant of extreme temperatures, and the holster includes an injection-molded paddle and an adjustable belt loop that also allows crossdraw carry.
Documented fits include: Beretta APX 9/40; CZ P-07; Sig Sauer P228, P229/Elite/R (with rail), P320 Carry/Compact 9/40, P320 SC, P2022/P2022R; Springfield XD Mod.2 9/40, XD 9/40 Subcompact.
