Compact, configurable and built for dependable field performance, the Browning X-Bolt 2 All Purpose is a versatile bolt-action rifle designed for hunting, ranch use and suppressed applications. Chambered in proven .308 Winchester, this model pairs a maneuverable 16.5-inch heavy sporter barrel with Browning’s adjustable OD Green Vari-Tech composite stock.
The Vari-Tech stock allows the shooter to adjust the length of pull, comb height and grip angle for a more personalized fit. Interchangeable sporter and vertical grip modules accommodate different shooting positions, while black overmolded gripping surfaces provide confident control in changing weather conditions.
Its free-floated barrel and bedded action promote consistent accuracy. The adjustable DLX Trigger delivers a clean break with zero creep, take-up or overtravel, while the revised X-Bolt 2 action provides additional bolt guidance for smooth operation. A short 60-degree bolt lift offers fast cycling and additional clearance around larger optics.
The 16.5-inch heavy sporter barrel features 5/8x24 muzzle threading for compatible suppressors and muzzle devices. Browning’s Plus Magazine System provides a six-round capacity with convenient insertion and removal through its side-mounted release.
Whether carried through dense timber, kept handy around the property or configured as a compact suppressed hunting rifle, the Browning X-Bolt 2 All Purpose delivers excellent adaptability in a practical package.
