The Ruger LC Carbine Model 19300 is a lightweight 5.7x28mm semi-automatic carbine built around Ruger’s compact bolt-over-barrel architecture. This configuration features a 16.25-inch fluted, nitride-treated barrel, 20+1 capacity, reversible side-folding adjustable stock, Ruger Rapid Deploy folding sights, aluminum M-LOK handguard, full-length Picatinny rail, and Secure Action™ fire-control system. Ruger identifies this exact configuration as Model 19300 / UPC 736676193004.

Chambered in 5.7x28mm, Model 19300 uses the same steel magazine design as the Ruger-5.7 pistol and ships with one 20-round Ruger-5.7 steel magazine. This magazine compatibility is an important distinction from the .45 Auto and 10mm LC Carbine variants, which use Glock-pattern magazines.

The rifle uses a 16.25-inch fluted, nitride-treated steel barrel with eight grooves and a 1:9" right-hand twist. The muzzle is threaded 1/2"-28 and supplied with a thread protector.

One of the LC Carbine’s defining characteristics is Ruger’s bolt-over-barrel design with the magazine located in the grip. This architecture helps centralize the firearm’s mass for balance while allowing Ruger to package the action into a relatively compact platform.

The carbine features a reversible, side-folding stock with adjustable length of pull. Ruger lists the LOP range at 12.69" to 14.62". The folding stock and collapsible sights also reduce the carbine’s footprint for storage.

The receiver is constructed from aluminum alloy with a durable Type III hard-coat anodized finish. A CNC-milled aluminum handguard provides M-LOK accessory slots and multiple QD sling sockets, while a Picatinny rail at the rear of the receiver expands accessory compatibility.

For optics and sights, Ruger equips Model 19300 with adjustable Ruger Rapid Deploy folding sights. The sights adjust for both windage and elevation, while the full-length Picatinny rail provides mounting space for compatible optics.

The LC Carbine uses Ruger’s Secure Action™ fire-control system, combining a protected internal hammer with a bladed-safety trigger. Controls include a 1911-style ambidextrous manual safety, reversible charging handle, ergonomic bolt release, and extended magazine release.

At only 5.9 pounds, the 5.7x28mm Model 19300 is notably lighter than the larger-caliber LC Carbine variants. Ruger lists an overall length of 30.60 inches and currently shows the model as having Limited Availability, with a suggested retail price of $1,039.00.
