The Ruger LC Carbine Model 19309 is a compact .45 Auto semi-automatic carbine built around Ruger’s distinctive bolt-over-barrel architecture. This configuration features a 16.25-inch threaded barrel, 13+1 capacity, Glock-pattern magazine compatibility, reversible side-folding adjustable stock, full-length Picatinny rail, M-LOK handguard, Ruger Rapid Deploy sights, and Secure Action fire-control system. Ruger confirms the exact configuration as Model 19309 / UPC 736676193097.

Chambered in .45 Auto, Model 19309 uses a 16.25-inch alloy-steel barrel with a 1:16" right-hand twist and six grooves. The muzzle is threaded .578"-28 and comes with a thread protector, allowing the installation of compatible muzzle accessories. Ruger also rates the carbine for SAAMI-spec +P ammunition.

One of the LC Carbine’s defining features is its bolt-over-barrel design with the magazine positioned in the grip. This architecture helps centralize the firearm’s mass and contributes to a relatively compact overall package.

Model 19309 has a factory capacity of 13+1 rounds and is designed to accept commonly available full-size Glock-pattern magazines. Ruger supplies one 13-round magazine with the carbine. Older Glock magazines with only one magazine-latch slot can also be used, although Ruger notes that the magazine release must remain in its factory left-side position with those older magazines.

The carbine features a reversible, side-folding stock with adjustable length of pull. Length of pull ranges from 12.60 to 14.60 inches, providing adjustment for different shooters and configurations. Folding the stock also substantially reduces the carbine’s storage footprint.

Ruger equips the LC Carbine with its Secure Action™ fire-control system, which combines a protected internal hammer with a bladed-safety trigger. Controls include a 1911-style ambidextrous manual safety, reversible charging handle, ergonomic bolt release, and extended magazine release.

The aluminum-alloy receiver and CNC-machined aluminum handguard receive a durable Type III hard-coat anodized finish. The handguard provides M-LOK attachment slots on seven sides, along with multiple QD sling sockets. Ruger also includes an M-LOK QD sling socket with the rifle.

For optics and sights, the LC Carbine has a full-length Picatinny rail and adjustable Ruger Rapid Deploy folding sights. The sights adjust for both windage and elevation and can be collapsed when not needed.

At 7.1 pounds and 30.60 inches overall, the .45 Auto LC Carbine combines a full 16.25-inch rifle barrel with a folding-stock design and pistol-caliber magazine system. Ruger currently lists Model 19309 as available with a suggested retail price of $1,039.00.
