The Ruger PC Carbine Model 19115 is a versatile 9mm Luger semi-automatic carbine featuring a 16.12-inch threaded and fluted barrel, 17-round capacity, aluminum free-float M-LOK handguard, adjustable ghost-ring sights, and interchangeable magazine wells. Its combination of modularity, Ruger's easy takedown system, and compatibility with both Ruger and Glock-pattern magazines makes the 19115 a flexible pistol-caliber carbine for recreational and sporting use.
The rifle features a 16.12-inch cold hammer-forged chrome-moly steel barrel with a heavy contour for consistent accuracy. Ruger flutes the barrel to remove unnecessary weight and improve handling while retaining the rigidity of the heavier profile. The muzzle is threaded 1/2"-28 and comes with a thread protector for use with compatible muzzle accessories.
Surrounding the barrel is a CNC-machined aluminum free-float handguard with a Type III hard-coat anodized finish. Magpul® M-LOK® attachment slots are provided on all four sides, giving the rifle considerable flexibility for mounting compatible accessories.
One of the PC Carbine's standout features is its interchangeable magazine-well system. The rifle ships with the SR-Series™/Security-9® magazine well installed and includes an additional magazine well that accepts compatible Glock® magazines. Ruger American® Pistol magazine wells are also available separately. Model 19115 ships with one 17-round SR-Series or Security-9 magazine.
Ruger's dead-blow action uses a custom tungsten weight to shorten bolt travel and help reduce felt recoil and muzzle rise. The bolt is machined from heat-treated chrome-moly steel for strength and durability. The trigger system incorporates proven Ruger 10/22® components, providing a light, crisp pull with minimal overtravel and a positive reset.
The PC Carbine also provides considerable flexibility for right- and left-handed shooters. Both the charging handle and magazine release are reversible, allowing the rifle's controls to be configured around shooter preference.
For sighting, Ruger equips the 19115 with an adjustable ghost-ring rear aperture sight and a protected, non-glare blade front sight. The aerospace-grade aluminum receiver incorporates an integrated Picatinny-style optics rail, allowing compatible red dots, scopes, and other optics to be mounted directly to the rifle.
The black glass-filled nylon synthetic stock features Ruger's proprietary texturing for enhanced control and a soft rubber buttpad. Ruger includes three 1/2-inch spacers, allowing length of pull to be adjusted between 12.62 and 14.12 inches for different shooters or varying amounts of outerwear.
Another defining feature is Ruger's easy takedown system, which allows the barrel and forend assembly to separate from the action for more compact transportation and storage. With a weight of 7 pounds and an overall length of 34.37 inches, the PC Carbine 19115 provides a compact and adaptable 9mm carbine platform.
