The Ruger PC Carbine™ Model 19102 is a versatile 9mm Luger semi-automatic takedown carbine designed for recreational shooting, competition, and home defense. Featuring a 16.12-inch cold hammer-forged threaded and fluted barrel, 10-round capacity, adjustable ghost ring sights, and Ruger's proven takedown system, the 19102 combines portability, accuracy, and magazine compatibility in one adaptable platform. This model is configured with 10-round magazines for jurisdictions with magazine-capacity restrictions.
One of the defining features of the PC Carbine is its easy takedown design. By locking the bolt open, pressing the recessed takedown lever, and twisting the barrel assembly, the rifle quickly separates into two compact components for convenient transportation and storage without requiring tools.
Model 19102 features a 16.12-inch cold hammer-forged chrome-moly steel barrel with weight-saving fluting and factory 1/2"-28 muzzle threads protected by an included thread protector. The heavy-contour barrel is designed to provide excellent accuracy and long service life while maintaining quick handling characteristics.
The dead blow blowback action incorporates a custom tungsten weight within the bolt to reduce bolt travel, felt recoil, and muzzle rise, resulting in smoother cycling and faster follow-up shots than traditional straight-blowback carbines.
A major advantage of the PC Carbine platform is its interchangeable magazine well system. Model 19102 ships with the SR-Series™/Security-9® magazine well installed and includes an additional magazine well compatible with Glock® 9mm magazines, allowing shooters to choose the magazine system that best fits their needs.
The rifle features a CNC-machined 7075-T6 aluminum receiver with a durable Type III hard-coat anodized finish and an integrated Picatinny optics rail. Adjustable ghost ring rear and protected blade front sights provide an excellent iron sight system while still allowing easy installation of red dots or scopes.
The glass-filled nylon synthetic stock includes a soft rubber recoil pad and three included ½-inch spacers, allowing shooters to adjust the length of pull from 12.62 inches to 14.12 inches. Sling swivel studs and a forward accessory rail provide additional mounting options for slings, lights, or lasers. The charging handle and magazine release are reversible, making the rifle equally accommodating for right- and left-handed shooters.
