Description

The Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Lite Model 43932 is a Davidson’s Distributor Exclusive chambered in .22 LR, combining the proven Mark IV operating system with a lightweight ventilated aluminum receiver, 4.40-inch threaded barrel, 1911-style grip geometry, and a distinctive Cobalt Kinetic Slate anodized finish. With a weight of only 25 ounces, 10+1 capacity, adjustable sights, and a factory-installed Picatinny rail, the 43932 is well suited for target shooting, training, and recreational range use.

One of the defining advantages of the Mark IV platform is Ruger’s one-button takedown system. Pressing the button at the rear of the frame allows the barrel and receiver assembly to tilt upward and separate from the grip frame without tools, making field stripping and chamber-to-muzzle cleaning significantly easier than earlier generations of Ruger Mark-series pistols.

The Model 43932 uses a lightweight, ventilated aerospace-grade aluminum receiver surrounding a tensioned stainless-steel barrel. The 4.40-inch cold hammer-forged barrel is threaded 1/2"-28 and includes a thread protector. Ruger states that its cold hammer-forging process produces precise rifling for accuracy and longevity.

The pistol's polymer 22/45 grip frame provides the familiar grip angle and control layout associated with the 1911 platform. Checkered 1911-style grip panels provide a comfortable, non-slip hold, while the frame incorporates a serrated frontstrap and checkered backstrap for additional control.

For sighting, Model 43932 features a fixed front sight and adjustable rear sight. Ruger also installs a Picatinny optics rail at the factory, allowing compatible red-dot sights and other optics to be mounted without requiring an aftermarket rail.

The pistol features an ambidextrous manual safety, which can be converted to left-side-only operation using the included washer. Additional features include an ergonomic bolt stop, conveniently positioned push-button magazine release, free-dropping magazines, and a magazine disconnect that prevents the pistol from firing when the magazine has been removed.
