One of the defining features of the Mark IV platform is Ruger’s one-button takedown system. Pressing the button at the rear of the frame allows the barrel-receiver assembly to tilt upward and separate from the grip frame without tools, simplifying field stripping and chamber-to-muzzle cleaning.

Model 43910 features a lightweight, ventilated aerospace-grade aluminum receiver finished in Red Anodizing and paired with a tensioned stainless-steel barrel. The cold hammer-forged barrel measures 4.40 inches and uses a 1:16" right-hand twist with six grooves.

Additional controls include an ambidextrous manual safety, ergonomic bolt stop, and conveniently located left-side push-button magazine release. The safety can be converted to left-side-only operation using the included washer. Magazines drop free when released, and a magazine disconnect prevents the pistol from firing when the magazine has been removed.
