Description

The Ruger Security-380 Model 3856 is a TALO Distributor Exclusive .380 Auto semi-automatic pistol distinguished by its Titanium Nitride-finished barrel paired with a black oxide slide. It combines Ruger’s Lite Rack™ system, Secure Action™ fire-control system, fiber-optic front sight, manual safety, accessory rail, and both 15-round and 10-round magazines in a compact package. The Security-380’s Lite Rack™ system uses refined slide serrations, pronounced cocking ears, and a lighter recoil spring to make the slide easier to manipulate. Ruger pairs this system with the relatively low recoil of the .380 Auto cartridge, making the pistol particularly approachable for range training and shooters who prefer easier slide operation.

Model 3856 has a 3.42-inch alloy-steel barrel with a distinctive Titanium Nitride finish. The barrel uses six grooves and a 1:10" right-hand twist. The slide is constructed from through-hardened alloy steel and receives a Black Oxide finish.

The pistol ships with two alloy-steel magazines: one 15-round extended magazine and one 10-round magazine. Its compact dimensions allow the shorter magazine to maintain a compact profile, while the 15-round magazine provides additional capacity and grip length.
