The Ruger PC Charger Model 29100 is a compact, highly configurable semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm Luger. Built on Ruger’s proven PC platform, Model 29100 combines a 6.50-inch threaded barrel, aluminum M-LOK handguard, interchangeable magazine-well system, Picatinny mounting surfaces, and a 17-round capacity in a compact 16.50-inch overall package.
The 6.50-inch cold hammer-forged alloy-steel barrel features a heavy contour and traditional blued finish. Ruger threads the muzzle 1/2"-28 and includes a thread protector, providing compatibility with appropriately threaded muzzle accessories where legally permitted.
The receiver is constructed from aluminum alloy with a durable Type III hard-coat anodized finish. An integrated Picatinny-style rail provides an optics-mounting surface, while a rear Picatinny rail provides additional accessory-mounting capability. The PC Charger does not include factory sights, making it ready for the shooter's choice of compatible optic.
Surrounding the barrel is a CNC-machined aluminum handguard with Magpul® M-LOK®-compatible attachment slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions. Ruger also installs a handstop at the 6 o'clock position to provide a defined support-hand position.
One of the PC Charger's most versatile features is its interchangeable magazine-well system. The pistol ships with the SR-Series™/Security-9® magazine well installed and includes an additional magazine well compatible with most newer double-stack Glock® magazines. This allows shooters to configure the pistol around commonly available magazine platforms.
Ruger's dead-blow action incorporates a custom tungsten weight designed to shorten bolt travel and reduce felt recoil and muzzle rise. The PC Charger also uses a durable heat-treated chrome-moly steel bolt and a trigger system utilizing proven Ruger 10/22® components.
The charging handle and magazine release are reversible, allowing the controls to be configured for left- or right-handed use. The glass-filled polymer chassis accepts standard AR-pattern pistol grips, further expanding the platform's customization options.
The PC Charger also incorporates Ruger's convenient takedown system, allowing the barrel/forend assembly to be quickly separated from the action for compact transportation and storage. With its 17-round capacity, 6.5-inch barrel, modular magazine system, and extensive accessory compatibility, the Ruger PC Charger 29100 is a highly adaptable 9mm platform.
